Curriculum Aligned School Expeditions & Educational Travel

FutureKind partners with Australasian schools to co create purposeful journeys that help young people grow and lead, preparing them for a future that matters.

Built on experience. Designed for what comes next.

We believe that when young people stretch themselves across cultures, landscapes, and ideas, they discover what they’re truly capable of. That the decisions that shape their lives should be made with open minds, strong values, and a deep understanding of the world.

We created Futurekind because we’ve lived this.

We’ve travelled as students, led school trips across mountains, cities, oceans, and borders — and supported hundreds of thousands of families on the journey. We’ve seen firsthand the transformation that happens when education steps beyond the classroom.

“Futurekind exists because we believe the future is shaped by the kind of people we become. We help students become brave, kind young adults — for their future, and for humankind.”

— The Futurekind Founders

Co-Founder

Peter Fletcher

Peter has spent his career creating experiences that build character, confidence, and perspective in young people. Over 20 years at World Challenge, including 10 years as Group Managing Director, he oversaw 90,000+ students travelling across 40+ countries — always with safety, care, and student wellbeing at the centre.

As a father of three teenagers, Peter understands the trust schools and families place in student travel. He’s also an adventurer at heart: from becoming the first Australian to row the North Atlantic Ocean (2015) to completing the first known father–daughter kayak crossing of Bass Strait (2025).

With a Senior Executive MBA from Melbourne Business School, he co-founded Futurekind to combine purpose with operational excellence — helping young people become brave, kind adults ready to shape a better future.

Co-Founder

Oliver Einsiedel

Oliver’s journey into purposeful student travel began as a teenager on an expedition to Borneo — an experience that showed him what happens when young people are trusted with real challenge and responsibility. After starting his career as a corporate lawyer, he brought that same professional rigour, risk awareness, and calm decision-making into student expeditions.

Over seven years with World Challenge, Oliver helped deliver life-changing journeys for 10,000+ students, balancing adventure with meticulous planning and care. A marathon and ultramarathon runner, he believes growth is earned — and that the right experience can build brave, kind young adults who carry that strength into everything that comes next.

Our Approach to School Travel

Every FutureKind journey begins with collaboration. We work closely with educators and school leaders to design programs that align with curriculum objectives, support student well-being, and reflect the values of each school community.

Rather than offering fixed itineraries, we co-create each expedition and tour around your learning goals, subject areas, and student cohort. This ensures travel is not an add-on, but a meaningful extension of the classroom.

Expeditions that Build Character

Immersive journeys designed around challenge, service, and personal growth. Through shared experience, cultural connection, and real responsibility, students develop confidence, resilience, and leadership in ways that last well beyond the journey.

Learning that extends beyond the classroom.

Futurekind’s school tours and expeditions are intentionally designed to support curriculum outcomes while creating powerful conditions for student growth. Programs can be aligned across humanities, geography, science, sustainability, leadership, and personal development.

Learning is embedded through cultural engagement, community connection, and guided reflection. As students step outside familiar environments, they develop resilience, independence, empathy, and perspective.

These experiences encourage young people to think critically about their role in the world and often become defining moments in their education.

Designed for schools. Trusted by families.
